Nebula Finance Decentralized Exchange (DEX)
As we pave the way for a stablecoin-based ecosystem with multiple liquidity pools, the obvious next step is to leverage this liquidity to provide a seamless and efficient trading platform - a decentralized exchange (DEX). This not only creates additional utility for our stablecoin, NUSD, but also promotes a more integrated and comprehensive financial ecosystem under Nebula Finance.
Our DEX implements a standard transaction fee of 0.3% per swap. The collected fees are strategically allocated to enhance the stability and growth of our ecosystem.
During periods of undercollateralization, the fees are split equally:
50% are directed towards increasing our collateralization ratio, a critical element in maintaining the stability of our stablecoin.
The remaining 50% are used to buy back and burn NSH tokens, effectively reducing their supply and potentially increasing their value.
Once we reach full collateralization, the allocation of the fees shifts:
50% of the fees contribute to building the Stability Pool. This pool acts as a buffer and a source of stability for the ecosystem, capable of responding to various market conditions.
The other 50% continues to go towards buying back and burning NSH tokens.
A unique aspect of our DEX is the potential to offer liquidity loans to projects seeking to list their tokens. Many DEXs require substantial capital, often ranging from $10,000 upwards, to list new tokens. With our overcollateralized position, we can extend loans to these projects, facilitating their token listing on our DEX. In return, we would retain a higher fee from each transaction until the loan is paid back with interest. The funds collected through these higher fees would be used for further NSH buybacks and burns, and for building the Stability Pool.
This mechanism ensures an ongoing cycle of growth and stability, further reinforcing the value proposition of Nebula Finance. By integrating a stablecoin, a DEX, and a lending platform, we create a comprehensive financial ecosystem that is resilient, dynamic, and beneficial for all participants.
